Splendid Service SRL has always tried to adapt to technological changes and has been aware of the dangers regarding the security of data of any kind, therefore emphasis has always been placed on the security of data within the company, especially on the personal data of its customers, whether it is about names, email addresses and phone numbers, as well as their behavior on the company's websites. Gastroprofesional.ro respects your privacy and the right to request information. Therefore, in accordance with the new Regulation on Data Protection, Gastroprofesional has the obligation to manage safely and only for the specified purposes, the personal data provided to us.

Legislation

On May 25, 2018, the provisions of European Regulation 679/2016 regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data entered into force and became applicable. In accordance with this Regulation (EU) No. 679/2016, Splendid Service SRL, respectively gastroprofesional.ro, undertakes to manage and store safely and only for the specified purposes the personal data provided to it by various Users of the site. These data are collected for conducting online commerce activities through the website www.gastroprofesional.ro.

What are personal data?

The personal data that you provide us by filling in the contact forms, by phone or by e-mail are confidential and will not be shared with third parties. We use your data exclusively to process your request. This information is provided for in art. 6 para. (1) lit. (f) of the GDPR.

For what purpose do we collect personal data?

We collect data through the online store gastroprofesional.ro for creating accounts (their purpose is to facilitate customers to place orders and use the site), placing orders and the smooth running of deliveries and for monitoring sales and activities of the online store users to improve their experience. We very rarely send newsletters or information about products, services or our company and when we happen to send you a message electronically or physically we do so for certain greetings on the occasion of holidays.

Providing the data requested in the account registration form is not mandatory, and their absence does not prevent us from processing an order. However, to place an order it is necessary to fill in the fields so that we can take over your orders and deliver the desired products. We assure you that the personal data we request are only the following: last name, first name, e-mail address, username used when creating the account, phone number, home address/residence address/order delivery address.

By filling in your data in the account creation and/or Order form, you declare that you voluntarily accept that your personal data be included in the gastroprofesional.ro database, and you give your express and unequivocal consent that all this personal data be stored, used and processed without territorial and/or temporal limitation by gastroprofesional.ro, for the purpose of conducting and/or carrying out by gastroprofesional.ro activities such as online commerce, marketing and tracking and monitoring of sales.

Your personal data may also be used for the purpose of monitoring, security and protection of persons, goods, spaces, through video cameras installed in offices and showrooms.

Your data will be kept in accordance with ongoing contracts (contractual period) plus an additional period of 10 years from the last invoice issued to you, in accordance with the Accounting Law no. 82/1991, republished.

What personal data do we collect?

We refer to this information as Order Information.

• data about your visit, such as complete Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), click sequence to, through and from our Websites (including date and time), information or products you viewed or searched (including top read articles, top accessed categories, page response times, download errors, duration of visits to certain pages (including average time spent on certain pages, viewing certain content or videos), average time spent in an application and the number of views from such applications, the average number of articles viewed on our Websites, information regarding interaction with pages (such as scrolling, clicks and mouse overs), methods used to navigate the page, data about user behavior and any phone number used to call or any email address used to contact our customer service department representatives.

Which pages of the site request personal information?

The newsletter subscription form, in the subfooter – customers can subscribe with their email address, if they wish to receive offers and other communications from us. When you visit and register on one of our online platforms, it is possible for us to obtain your personal data from a third-party social communication provider, if you voluntarily choose to register through that third-party social communication platform.

On the registration page – new account/existing account – customers who want to have the possibility to access information regarding all orders placed can create a new account to use later for placing orders. Gastroprofesional.ro will not request from you in any situation, through any communication channel, information about bank cards and personal passwords associated with them or associated with any accounts (banking/online accounts/accounts in applications etc.) that you hold. Online payments are made through the payment processor MobilPay - Netopia, so that this information does not reach our database. If you disclose such information to a third party (including when the third party claims to represent Gastroprofesional.ro), you assume full responsibility for the unauthorized use of this data, Gastroprofesional.ro not assuming any liability for any damages you may suffer.

Who has access to this data?

Splendid Service does not transmit the personal data of its customers to third parties outside the company, with a few exceptions, as follows:

-        Manufacturers and suppliers we work with: In order to process certain orders, it may be necessary to provide our collaborators in the mentioned categories, but in most cases they are anonymized.

-        Our distributors: For projects or special orders, it may be necessary to provide our collaborators in the mentioned category with your personal data, but we will only do so after receiving your consent.

-        Courier and transport companies: It is necessary to provide them with your personal data, in order to deliver the desired and ordered products.

-        Other service providers, such as online marketing agencies, programming agencies, the online store platform, hosting company, payment processors, leasing company, third parties (Google Analytics, Facebook).

Splendid Service may provide your personal data to these companies with which we have partnership relationships, but only on the basis of a confidentiality commitment on their part, which guarantees that this data is kept safe and that the provision of this personal information is done in accordance with the legislation in force. What is the data storage policy?
